Salamis are sausages prepared from chicken or any other poultry animals. Italy is said to be the origin of the salamis. Typical salami is made from pork or beef meat. However, it is also prepared from horse and donkey meat, although it is not commonly available in India. The flesh is not completely raw but is cured. The process of preparing salami includes different stages. In the initial stage, the meat is grounded and then mixed with spices, herbs, salt, pepper, yeast, and sugar. The mixture is then subjected to fermentation and is dried before packing.

Chicken (72%), Water (18%), Isolated Soya Protein, Iodised Salt, Milk Solids, Black Pepper, Spices, Stabiliser(E-407), Acidity Regulator(E-451) and Preservative Nitrite(E-250). Allergy Advice: Contains wheat gluten, soya and milk solids. Product may contain egg, peanuts and tree nuts as the facility handles these ingredients.

Like any variety of salami, Chicken Salami with Black Pepper should also be stored at a cold temperature. Thaw it for about 10 minutes to ensure easy cooking.
