The lower part of the chicken leg is referred to as the Chicken drumstick. Normally they measure between 3 oz to 7 oz, but the drumsticks available in the market these days measure around 4 oz. Like chicken wings and chicken legs, even chicken drumsticks have a high amount of proteins. Chicken drumsticks contain healthy fat known as polyunsaturated fat which makes chicken safe for consumption from a health aspect. Hence, they are usually preferred over red meats. It is also less expensive when compared to chicken breasts or the whole chicken.
